How do I collect my order?

All orders are shipped with GLS and requires a signature upon delivery. GLS usually operates between 9am-6pm on business days. You can specify an alternate daytime delivery address when ordering, for example your work address (recommended). If you’re not available when delivery is attempted, GLS will deliver to your nearest service point. You will have 10 days to pick up your order, after that period your order will return to our production workshop and a full refund will be issued to you.

We offer free shipping for orders in Belgium.

What is your return policy?

Récolte has a 14-day return policy. Contact us at order@recoltecoop.com with your order number.

Can Récolte be used on children?

We recommend using just small amounts of as few products as possible on young children. Having said this, Récolte products are free from skin-unfriendly ingredients or other irritants and so are particularly suitable for children. If your child has any particular allergies or skin conditions then you should first consult your general practitioner or pharmacist.

Can I use Récolte products whilst pregnant?

None of our products contain ingredients at levels which should cause concern during pregnancy. However, certain products contain ingredients such as essential oils that some women choose to avoid during pregnancy. If you have any concerns at all we advise you to consult your general practitioner or pharmacist.

Why do some Récolte products contain alcohol?

A mixture of water and organic vegetable alcohol is used by Récolte as a means of extracting plants and natural materials. It is therefore naturally present in the composition of some of our products. It also improves the preservation of certain formulas.

Do Récolte products use preservatives?

Only natural plant vitamin E (tocopherol) and organic vegetable alcohol are used to stabilize Récolte products.

What is the shelf life of Récolte products?

Our products are tested to have a shelf life of 18 months. We recommend keeping our products away from direct sunlight and all sources of heat.

Who are your suppliers?

We source all our ingredients from Europe. We buy directly from growers and pickers we know and trust.

How do you make your products?

We don’t outsource manufacturing. In-house production isn’t easy to do, but we’re able to do it because we have simple formulations.

Why do Récolte products use aluminum tubes?

The Récolte products packaging has been designed to protect the product against dirt, light and atmospheric oxygen. Because of its malleable form and its permeability, aluminum is intended to prevent the ingredients from being altered by oxidation.

The aluminum tubes used for the Récolte products physiologically safe, free of BPA inner coating. This complies with the specifications of European food law and can therefore even be used as food packaging. There is therefore no direct contact between the aluminium and the content of the tube.

Why do Récolte products come in cartons?

Cartons had to be introduced as international regulations require that we label our products in different languages. Our cartons are made from FSC certified paper from managed forests.

Is Récolte’s packaging recyclable?

The packaging of Récolte products is recyclable:
— glass bottles are recycled (separate the closure from the bottle)
— aluminum tubes are recycled (separate the closure from the tube)
— cardboard cases are recycled
— only plastic closures do not recycle

Is the Récolte co-operative approved?

Yes. Récolte is approved by the Conseil National de la Coopération. Our statutes are available [here].

What right gives a share?

The 5 € lifetime membership you buy to become a member represents your part-ownership in the co-op. One share gives the right to vote in the general assembly. Récolte members are its owners and can participate according to the principle of one person = one vote, regardless of the number of shares held. In a typical commercial society, the rule is: a share = a vote.

Will I earn a dividend?

Yes. But dividends are limited to 6% and depend on how Récolte distributes them between reserve funds and compensation for its co-operators.

Can my investment be refunded?

If you leave the co-op, your investment will be refunded. The repayment can take from 0 to 36 months depending on the availability of liquidity. Récolte plans to refund the shares at their balance sheet value.

Is there a risk of losing my investment?

There is no such thing as zero risk. Ultimately, if things were ever to go wrong for the co-op Récolte, it is possible that it can not repay its co-operators.
